Questions to Ask Your Pharmacist Before You Leave

A short checklist to help you get the most out of every visit to the pharmacy counter.

A trip to the pharmacy can feel rushed, especially when the counter is busy. But a few good questions before you leave can make a real difference in how confidently you use your medicine at home.

Before you go, ask:

  • How and when should I take this? With food or without, morning or night, and for how many days.
  • What should I do if I miss a dose? Some medicines need a specific approach if a dose is missed.
  • Are there foods, drinks or other medicines to avoid? Interactions are common and worth checking every time.
  • What changes should prompt me to come back? It helps to know what is expected versus what is worth a follow-up visit.

At Bio Care, we would rather you ask a question that feels obvious than leave unsure. That is what “We Can Hear You Now” means in practice: we would rather take an extra minute at the counter than have you guessing at home.
